10-Day Tarangire, Manyara, Arusha NP and Hadzabe People Safari

DAY1

Pick you from Kilimanjaro airport transferred to Mrefu farm lodge overnight.

 

DAY2

After a marvelous breakfast in a wonderful nature, visit the Chagga tribe cultural activities like the blacksmith, underground tunnels Chagga used to hide during tribal war, local market and waterfalls. Afternoon walk around the farm and witness the food grown like avocados, corn, jeans, bananas, yams, oista nuts, coffee, Bush babies etc. Later on, during happy hour, taste the foods grown in the farm.  Overnight at Mrefu Lodge.

 

DAY3

After breakfast transferred to Marangu gate and start the one-day trip to Mt. Kilimanjaro's first hut - MANDARA HUT - 2700m high above sea Level. Return the end of the day, overnight Mrefu Eco-Lodge.

 

DAY4

In the morning leave Mrefu with lunch box to Arusha Nat. Park, full day game drive, overnight in Arusha town.

 

DAY5

Explore Arusha Town touring the CULTURAL HERITAGE CENTRE - The most famous and probably the largest gallery in Afrika; visit the SHANGA centre, a place where disabled people create unique works; visit and play with children at the Tamiha Orphanage Centre and more. Overnight in Arusha Town.

 

DAY 6

Leave for Tarangire National Park, full day game drive with overnight at the Tarangire Safari lodge in the park.

 

DAY7

Full day game drive Tarangire Nat. Park, overnight Tarangire Safari lodge.

 

DAY8

Leave Tarangire to Manyara Nat. Park for a full day game drive. Overnight at Karatu town, famous town with hunter-gatherers, a transit town to many parks.

 

DAY9

Trip to Lake Eyasi, south of Ngorongoro conservation, to visit the Bush people the HADZABE tribe. Go and hunt with Hadzabe. Visit the DAYOGA tribal blacksmith. Overnight in Karatu town.

 

DAY10

Leave Karatu to Arusha town, shower and back home.
