LEMOSHO ROUTE

 

DAY 1

On landing Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be picked by our driver-guide and transferred to Mrefu Eco-Lodge overnight.

 

DAY 2

After marvelous breakfast in a beautiful, natural, amazing Kilimanjaro setting, you will start by visiting the Chagga tribe’s cultural activities around the village, such as the local blacksmith, the underground tunnels Chaggas used to hide during Chagga and Maasai tribal wars, tour the local market and our famous water falls. Afternoon tour the sustainable, solar powered Mrefu Eco-Lodge farm.  Later on, during happy hour, enjoy tastes of food taken from our own eco-farm.

Overnight at Mrefu.

 

DAY 3

Drive from Mrefu to Lemosho, the starting point for registration, payments then hike to Mti Mkubwa camp,

dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 4

Mti Mkubwa camp to Shira one camp dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 5

Shira One to Shira Two camp overnight.

 

DAY 6

Shira to Barranco via lava tower overnight.

 

DAY 7

Barranco to Karanga valley camp overnight.

 

DAY 8

Karanga Valley to Barafu overnight.

 

DAY 9

Barafu camp summit back to Barafu down to Bweka camp overnight.

 

DAY 10

Mweka camp to Mweka gate, receive certificates, tipping drive to Mrefu, shower, refreshment then transfer back to airport fly back home.

 

This All-inclusive 8-Day Lemosho Route will cost $2,975 per person.
